Health and Safety Representative - (noun)
Definition
A health and safety representative can be appointed or elected by trade union members. They participate in the health and safety committee and can investigate potential hazards, investigate complaints, take up health and safety issues with the employer, carry out inspections, and represent workers in talks with management.
