Solidarity Action - (adjective + noun)

Definition

This is industrial action that is taken by a trade union in order to support a strike started by workers in another enterprise. Very often the enterprise is in the same group of companies.

Example of Use: Solidarity action is still illegal in the UK, despite the Labour Party being in power for over 10 years.
