Restructuring - (noun)


This is a term that describes a broad range of activities that lead to the reorganisation of a business. It often has negative consequences for employees as it may result in redundancies and poorer working conditions.

Example of Use: Restructuring events include company reorganisation, outsourcing, business closure, downsizing or expansion, mergers & acquisitions, relocation, offshoring and reshoring.
