Definition

In the UK this is the right of parents to take up to 18 weeks’ unpaid parental leave until the child’s 18th birthday.

Example of Use: When a parent returns to work after a period of ordinary parental leave, he or she has the right to do so in the job that he or she had when that period of parental leave began.
