Industrial Tribunal - (adjective + noun)


This is a type of public body that has the jurisdiction to make judgements on disputes between employers and employees. In the UK they are now referred to as employment tribunals.

Example of Use: In the UK industrial tribunals consisted of a lawyer, someone nominated by an employer association, and another nominated by the Trades Union Congress.
