European Economic Area - (EEA )

Definition

The EEA unites the EU Member States and three EEA EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) into an internal market governed by the same basic rules.

Example of Use: The EEA agreement guarantees equal rights and obligations within the internal market for individuals and economic operators in the EEA. There are currently (June 2019) 31 members of the EEA.
