Protected Characteristics - (adjective + noun)

Definition

It is against the law to discriminate against someone based on a protected characteristic. These protected characteristics include age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
